I think that I have an advantage as a surgeon, when conducting laser eye surgery, because I underwent this surgery myself about 6 years ago. I really understand peoples’ feelings and emotions after the surgery, when they see things clearly for the first time.  It’s great when I meet my patients and talk to them after surgery – to see their emotions and feelings of happiness and joy.  It’s great to be able to do this.
