Optometrist Dr. Gunta Krumina

Gunta Krumina has been working as an optometrist at the Dr. Lukins’ Eye Clinic since year 2004.

She studied at the University of Latvia, Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, obtaining a bachelor’s science degree in optometrics, afterwards a master’s degree in natural science and a doctor’s degree in medical physics.

Since year 2005, Gunta Krumina is a professor at the University of Latvia, Faculty of Physics and Mathematics. She also is an author of many scientific and literature studies.

In year 2008, she was the leading researcher in a project of the University of Latvia, “Studies on visual function using the correction of adaptive optics”.

Since year 1999, Dr. Krumina is a member of Latvian Optometric and Optical Association (LOOA) and since year 2008 - a chairman of the LOOA Qualification Board.

In Dr. Lukins’ Eye Clinic she performs extensive vision examinations and provides an eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions.
